The push notifications are coming for you, if they haven’t already—Amazon Prime Day is just over the horizon. As those deals are gearing up for showtime on July 11 and 12, you can get a head start on some sneak peek sales. Backyard parties, and salad-duty for the July 4 cookout isn’t going to wait, so snag some of these early prime deals on kitchen essentials.

Food processors

I get a ton of use out of my food processor. It can take care of everything from fruit smoothies to chopping nuts, or spiralizing zucchini. Here are some great deals on your new kitchen workhorse in a variety of sizes.

Hand mixers

For mixing most cookie doughs, cake batters, and whipping cream for your summer berry pie, a hand mixer is all you need to lighten the work. Check out these two affordable Hamilton Beach models to see which one is right for you.

Pots and pans sets

You won’t get too far in the kitchen without a set of pots and pans—or maybe you have a set but it’s time for an upgrade. Here are a couple deals on sets you’ll want to show off.

Cutting boards

A good cutting board will protect you and your knives. Plus, beautiful ones like these can serve as impromptu platters or charcuterie boards.

Knife sets

A knife set with a block is a great gift (even if it’s a gift for yourself). These come with a variety of different blades to meet all of your slicing and chopping needs. A couple of them also include an attached sharpener, which can be helpful if you’re the type who tends to run your blades down to the sharpness of a spoon.

Single knife deals

Knife sets and blocks aren’t for everyone. These single knife deals are ideal if you like to curate particular knives for specific purposes. The following are similarly named, but they actually feature different blade shapes and finishes. Take a look to see which one you fall in love with.

Baking dishes

A dish I can bake in, use as a serving container, and pop a lid on for storage, well it just makes me get a little misty-eyed. These two options meet different needs, so check them both out in case you need both in your kitchen.

Storage containers

I recently upgraded my cracked, dusty plastic storage containers for a glass set, and it is a breath of fresh air. They’re easy to clean, and easy to de-stink.

Measuring cups

Glass measuring cups are a must-have tool, but I use them for far more than simply measuring liquid. They’re fantastic for making salad dressings, precision pours, and scrambling eggs. I have been known to serve bread sticks in them from time to time. (The tall sides are clutch.)
